Start your diagnosis by checking for a refrigerant leak at the G395 pressure sensor. If you find a leak, replace the sensor with the updated part. If the refrigerant pressures are good and you find no leak, pursue normal diagnostics.

Apr 25, 2016The air con wasn't working at all. So today I had the air con on my '04 audi a4 b6 1.9 tdi regassed. I was told that the system was completely empty before - it's full now and correct pressure. I've only had the car about 4 weeks myself so don't know how long it has been empty for before that.

Jun 01, 2018The compressor & condensor were all working fine. After a bit of research, buying a VCDS cable & doing a scan it turned out the AC Pressure Sensor (G395) was faulty. Jul 17, 2018As I found out tonight, I had the same symptom; the A/C compressor was not plugged in. First, disconnect the electrical connector on your compressor when the A/C should be on and see if you have voltage. If not and if the A/C light on the dash is illuminated, it's probably your fan control module.
