Oct 09, 2007Re: Diode in fuse box The diode has nothing to do with the,"Parking" position's part of the safety features of the bike disallows the rider to start the bike in gear but can be used if stalled at a junction/lights by pulling the clutch lever in which will then allow the rider to start the bike in gear.

Assuming you have already relocated your fuse box, remove your existing bar clamps with a 6mm Allen key: It can be easier to mark with pencil or tape where the handlebars sit in the clamps in case you move them during installation - you don't want them off-center or you will find your bike heading off to the left or right unintentionally.
