May 21, 2010GFS Humbuckers-Neck Side Coil North- Black=Start, White = End Bridge Side Coil South- Green = Start Red=End To wire a GFS humbucker Green goes to + Black goes to - ground Shield goes to - ground (On some guitars you will remove this if you have noise issues. Red connects to white- NO CONTACT for humbucker, to ground to single coil.

Mar 20, 2011I'm going to be putting the GFS Lil Killer set in my MIM and I was wanting to get some ideas for wiring. I have a standard Strat 5-way for the switch. Does anyone have a diagram for a 3 volume setup? I haven't been able to locate one. What other possibilities do you recommend?

Apr 23, 2010Apologies if this has been covered a million times..I just ordered a GFS Lil Killer Humbucker for my Strat. I have switched out pickups myself before, but only simple one wire stuff (Teles). This pickup has four conductors (for coil tapping, which I don't need). My question is, how do I solder this in? What wires get soldered and what wires don't?
