Feb 09, 2015I can light them up by jumping the correct wires in the headlight switch plug, which tells me that the headlights and associated added wiring all work as expected. What I can't figure out is why the new euro headlight switch, which has the proper front and rear fog positions, won't light the fogs.

Jun 09, 2011The row on the left, 3rd pin from the bottom is pin 3. It is the same on the European switch. Step 3- Test your Euro switch to be sure that pin #3 is for the parking lights, or take my word for it @ Ross Tech has already worked out the pins for both the HL switch

Jan 02, 2013A simple concept might be to think of the trigger wire as a switch.. -- when you turn or rather pull out your Euro to the fog position, 12 volts is put through the trigger wire. That "trigger" voltage goes to a relay which in turn closes and sends 12 volts to your lights.
