Jun 06, 2012Of course your camper doesn't have brakes so the blue wire is not needed. I have the purple wire connected through too since my camper has backup lights in it, but then again my camper has a 7pin wiring harness at both ends. The 6 pin harness does not support backup lights. Here's a web page that will give you some good wiring info:
