May 05, 2017Completed my manual transmission swap on my '95 Volvo 850 T-5R. It was a solid 3 day job with 2 people. Dec 25, 2009i blew up the automatic transmission on my 850 turbo the other day. i know i have a couple options. i can either buy another automatic tranny put it in and be done with it. that would probably be the smart thing to do(the easy thing to do anyway). or i can spend a fortune on a manual transmission and all the parts i need to do the swap.
